Frequently Asked Questions
Before you upload your CAD files, review our technical, fabrication, and logistical parameters. We believe in 100% transparency regarding our engineering capabilities and production schedules so you can plan your project with absolute certainty.
What is your standard lead time for custom louver fabrication?
We operate on speed and precision. Once you provide the specs, we deliver the complete submittal package (shop drawings & calculations) within 48 hours. After you return the approved/stamped drawings, standard fabrication takes 2 to 3 weeks.
Note: Specialized finishes like Kynar 500 or custom anodizing may add 1 to 2 weeks to the final timeline.
Do you charge custom tooling or setup fees for non-standard blade angles?
No. We do not rely on fixed stamping dies. Because we utilize multi-axis CNC press brakes, we can form custom blade pitches (J-blade, K-blade, etc.) to hit your exact pressure drop requirements without any custom tooling charges. You pay for the metal and the machine time, not the tooling.
I only have the required CFM and rough opening dimensions. Can you calculate the rest?
Yes. This is our core engineering assist service. Simply submit your target CFM and rough opening. Our engineering team will calculate the required blade pitch, determine the exact free area percentage, and ensure the design aligns with AMCA 500-L air performance and water penetration standards.
How do you handle louvers that are larger than standard shipping dimensions?
For oversized wall cavities that exceed standard freight limits, we engineer the louvers as multi-section assemblies. We design precision-fitted continuous mullions (architectural/hidden or structural) so the units ship flat and safely in our custom wooden crates, and bolt together seamlessly on the job site with zero alignment issues.
Do you have a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
We are a heavy-duty fabrication facility optimized for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. While we do not have a strict piece-count MOQ, our CNC setup process is most cost-effective for multi-unit building envelopes or large-scale plant upgrades. If you need a single 12″x12″ louver for a residential shed, we are likely not the right fit. If you need 50 custom-fitted units for a data center, we are ready to start.
