Frequently Asked Questions
What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for automotive components?
We do not impose rigid MOQs, because we support your entire product lifecycle. We run single-unit prototypes (delivered in 3-5 days) for engineering validation, handle low volume automotive sheet metal production runs, and seamlessly scale to 100,000+ unit production runs via blanket orders and JIT delivery schedules.
Do we have to pay for expensive hard tooling/stamping dies upfront?
Not necessarily. For low-to-mid volume runs, or designs prone to engineering changes (ECOs), we utilize our 4kW Trumpf lasers and 6-axis CNC press brakes to emulate stamped parts without zero NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) tooling costs. For high-volume legacy parts, we build and maintain custom progressive dies to drive your piece-price down.
Do you outsource finishing (powder coating/plating), or is it done in-house?
Will you supply Level 3 PPAP for our new model launch?
What CAD file formats do your manufacturing engineers prefer?
For the fastest quote turnaround, .STEP or .IGES files are preferred for 3D models, accompanied by a .PDF or .DWG detailing strict tolerance callouts, material grades, and finish requirements.
