Frequently Asked Questions
We eliminate operational ambiguity before you submit your drawings. Here are the exact engineering requirements and manufacturing capabilities regarding our enclosure fabrication process.
What file formats are required for an accurate manufacturing quote?
Submit 3D STEP or IGES files for extrusion and CNC machining evaluation. Provide 2D vector files for flat sheet metal cutouts. Always include a PDF drawing specifying critical tolerances material grades and required surface finishes.
How do you control positional tolerance on I O ports and mating surfaces?
We utilize strict datum planning during the CAM programming phase. Whenever geometrically possible we machine all critical interface cutouts and mounting points in a single setup on multi axis CNC centers to completely eliminate tolerance stacking caused by part repositioning.
Can your facility handle printed circuit board and physical hardware sub assembly?
Yes, we provide complete mechanical sub assembly services. Our technicians install threaded inserts thermal pads mounting brackets and physical hardware. We can also mount your supplied printed circuit boards into the completed enclosures prior to final shipping.
