Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my parts arrive damaged or out of tolerance due to rough ocean transit?
It depends on your chosen Incoterm. If you select DDP, we hold 100% of the liability. We will remake and expedite the parts at our cost. If you select EXW or FOB, our liability ends at the freight hand-off. However, because our geometry-specific secured packaging comes standard on every order, the physical risk is heavily mitigated before the shipment ever leaves our dock.
If I choose the DDP delivery model, are import duties and tariffs \*actually\* included?
Yes. A true DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) quote means the price we give you is your final landed cost. We coordinate with our logistics partners to clear customs and pay the import duties on your behalf. There are no sudden freight adjustments or hidden tax invoices weeks after delivery.
Do you only ship flat laser-cut parts, or can you safely pack large, odd-shaped welded assemblies?
We regularly fabricate and ship heavy welded assemblies, such as server racks and machine enclosures. Heavy payloads require specific logistics engineering. We design rigid internal bracing to prevent structural bending moments during transit, ensuring complex frames arrive perfectly square and ready for assembly.
How do I ensure my QA team gets the exact material certifications and inspection reports they need?
Simply let us know your compliance requirements when submitting your CAD files. We maintain strict internal lot tracking. If your project requires rigorous documentation, we will compile the final dimensional inspection logs and your requested material certs (MTRs), handing them off alongside your standard commercial shipping paperwork.
How long does it take to get the parts onto my factory floor?
Fabrication lead times depend on part complexity and will be clearly defined in your initial quote. For transit, air freight typically takes 5-7 days, while ocean freight ranges from 25-35 days depending on your destination port. Your transparent, itemized quote will include precise timeline estimates for your selected freight method.
